BIO
Brian Nelson, CFA holds a B.A. in finance with a minor in mathematics and graduated magna cum laude from Benedictine University. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago. He was previously a director at Morningstar, responsible for training and methodology development within the equity and research department. Prior to joining Morningstar, he worked for a small capitalization fund for an aggressive growth investment management firm in Chicago. Nelson left Morningstar to found Valuentum Securities in early 2011.
