Reports indicate that Apple plans to slow the update cycle of the iPhone, but while such news may frighten product-driven investors, it may counter-intuitively help the market re-focus on assessing Apple’s intrinsic value as opposed to encouraging product-driven trading. Of course we’d like to see Apple continue on its breakneck innovation curve, but we’re not disappointed in the expected lull either, nor are we taken aback by Apple’s rumored interest in Netflix, a scenario we find considerably far-fetched.
